Halloween is a festival celebrated on 31st October every year and is the shortened name for AllHalloween, All Hallow’s Evening and All Saint’s Eve which are also celebrated on October 31st. The meaning of the word Halloween is the evening before All Hallow’s Day and it was derived from ancient Celtic festivals. However, today it is more commonly known as the day for trick or treating, pumpkin carving, getting candy, and dressing up as various fearsome or movie characters.
